Field of Blooms nursery is situated at the Ballymackey/Lisnamoe area, 8 km from Nenagh town. The small run business is specialised in unusual plants for the more concerned gardener and plant collector. Good selection of perennials are available throughout the year. Some varieties are limited and should be ordered in advance. All plants are hardened off before being put on sale.

By the end of the winter 2008 at "Field of Blooms" nursery, we were celebrating the vigour of flower colour, a pallet after long and intense work involving the crossbreeding program with our "Hellebores" As it takes the most of 3 - 5 years to see the result and nuances in colour. The colours of the "Hellebores orientalis" is recognisable by the diversity of there flowers but also in there varied foliage, shape and colour. It really become a Passion as the first buds opened and reveal their secrets, the result of lots of patient work and thoughts to find the new beauty.
After nearly 15 years of intense hybridising "Hellebores", we look back to the start with 4 different colours, what brought every season a new discovery with more hand pollinated crossing, new plants were purchased from the most recommended nurseries in the UK and The continent, we found much sought after varieties in Colour, picotees, doubles, anemone flowered also Party Dress in different colour, resulting in a wide selection of variety and still growing.
